Pilot Captain Mason Mauldin killed in Louisiana Air Plane Crash in a small Single Engine 4 Seat Aircraft





Little Rock man killed in Louisiana plane crash identified as
- The four people who died in Thursday's plane crash in Monroe, Louisiana have now been identified. The Central Flying Service pilot, Mason Mauldin, was victim to the crash, as well as three others from Louisiana.

KNOE in Louisiana shared a release from Disaster Management International that read, "Central Flying Service confirms that Mason Mauldin, of Little Rock, was the pilot of the plane that crashed south of Monroe yesterday. Central Flying Service continues to work with Federal and Local investigators at the crash site. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the family and friends of those who were on board the plane."

The White Water Tavern, a dive known for live music in Little Rock, shared this Facebook status Friday morning, "We are dumbstruck and terribly saddened by the passing of our friend and long time member of the Arkansas music community, Mason Mauldin. To his family and multitudes of sweet heart friends, we are here if there is absolutely ANYTHING that we can do for you. To Mason, we love you, brother."

According to KNOE, Dean Hart, Sr., of West Monroe and Max Larche of Bastrop were also killed, as was Don Thompson, who was a Regional Sales Manager for Bumper to Bumper, the parent company of Replacement Parts, Inc., in Little Rock.




Flagler Airport praised for plane crash response
